Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that when the first freight train ran on the Bhaupur-Khurja Freight Corridor route today, the echo of new India and self-reliant India was heard in it.

The Operation Control Center in Prayagraj is also a symbol of the new power of the new India. It is one of the finest and modern control centers in the world.

He said that today when India is moving fast towards becoming a major economic power of the world, then the best connectivity is the priority of the country.

With this thinking, every aspect of modern connectivity in the country has been working with focus.

Strength and speed are being given to these five wheels which are necessary for highway, railway, air-way, water-way and I-way economic speed.

This Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor is an important step in this direction.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that both the passenger trains and goods trains run on the same track here. The speed of the goods train is slow.

In such a situation, passenger trains are stopped at stations to give way to goods trains. This makes the passenger train also late and also trains.

These freight corridors will be a very large medium for self-sufficient India. Whether it is industry, trade or business, farmer or consumer, everyone is going to benefit from it.

In particular, this freight corridor is going to give new energy to industrially lagging eastern India. About 60 percent of it is in Uttar Pradesh, so every small and big industry in UP will benefit from it.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the 100th Kisan Rail has been started in the country only yesterday.

Farmer rail has made it possible to deliver agricultural produce in safe and low prices in markets across the country. Now the farmer rail will reach its destination even faster.

The storage capacity of railway stations of UP is also being increased. Eight new good shades have been built in UP.

This project is a living example of the work culture of the pre-2014 government. The speed with which the states should have talked on this 2006 project was not done.

The plan stuck, went astray. By 2014, not a single km had been laid. So the budget increased by 11 times. About 45 thousand crores.

Our government swiftly moved the matter forward. There was not a single km track in eight years whereas after 2014, 1100 km track was ready.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that earlier the focus was on increasing the number of trains to get votes in elections, the track was never taken care of.

The railway was made a risky structure. By announcing the forgotten culture, we started working on the rail network and its betterment.

Now Indian Railways has become more secure than before. The difference between cleanliness, food, and other facilities in the railway is now visible.

There has been a very extensive improvement in railway manufacturing. The work and name of Banaras Rail Engine Factory and Rae Bareli Coach Factory have increased.

Engine and coach are now being exported from here.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the infrastructure of the country is not the future of the party but of the country. It is necessary to mention another mindset here.

The mindset of demonstrations and movements is to damage the wealth of the country. It is not about any leader, party but the people. Taxpayers.

This infrastructure is ready when the poor gave money by cutting their stomachs. The national obligation should not be forgotten.

The railways that are harmed are used in difficult times. We have seen this in the Corona era. Railways have been in the role from delivering rations to Corona Hospital.
