Plot to repeat Pulwama-like attack foiled, 5 arrested including two fidayeen with IED: Militancy in Kashmir.
Due to the vigilance of security forces deployed in Kashmir for the restoration of peace, the valley has once again been saved from shaking.
Two fidayeen of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad, who are plotting to repeat the Pulwama incident in Kashmir, have been arrested by the security forces along with the IED.
Not only this, on the basis of interrogation of these two, five more terrorists have also been arrested from different areas of Kashmir.
Plot to repeat Pulwama-like attack foiled: Security forces say that one of the two terrorists involved in the conspiracy to plant an IED is a student of BA Part-1. All these seven terrorists have joined terrorist organizations a few months back.
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, while confirming the busting of the terrorist module, said that all these terrorists were planning IED or suicide attacks in the areas of South Kashmir.
He also said that the other five were arrested on the basis of interrogation of the two youths who were caught earlier. Not only this, but the police have also recovered the car in which the IED was to be installed.
Kashmir: Ulema, Maulvi, and religious organizations together with the administration will now give freedom from drugs to Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir police and civil administration have intensified their operations against illegal drug addicts.
Under this, not only is the effort to stop the smuggling of intoxicating drugs coming from across the border but also the cultivation of opium and cannabis in the valley is being destroyed.
Despite this, the expected results are not being achieved. In view of this, the administration has now decided to seek the help of religious leaders.
The heroin comes from across the LoC: Pole of Pandurang, the Mandalayukta of Kashmir, said that the illegal drug trade in Kashmir has also increased due to terrorism.
While banned drugs come through Punjab, heroin crosses the LoC. From Kashmir, opium, charas and bhukki are smuggled elsewhere. The situation is very grim, if the same situation prevails then people will forget Udta Punjab.
Police, civil administration, and many other government institutions are using every possible way to deal with this problem. He said that we are taking possible action against drug addiction.
