Nine killed in horrific car-truck collision in Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister expressed grief, announced compensation.

A major road accident took place in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday.

A horrific collision took place between a car and a lorry in Budagavi village of the district, in which nine people were killed.

Giving information, the police said that this road accident took place in the Kotlapally area on Anantapuramu-Bellary National Highway. Six women and a child were also among those who died.

Prime Minister expressed grief.

A tweet on behalf of the PMO has been told on this road accident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is hurt by the death of people in the painful accident in Anantapur district.

Expressing condolences to the bereaved families, he has announced to give two lakh each from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to the families of the deceased.

How and when did this road accident happen.

Nine people lost their lives in a horrific road accident in Budagavi village of Anantapuram district. Police said that six women and a child were among the dead.

All those killed in the road accident were relatives, who were returning from Bellary in Karnataka to their native village Urvakonda Laut on Sunday in an SUV car.

A speeding lorry suddenly collided in front of the people in the car, unaware of the time coming in front. The collision was so strong that the lorry rammed directly into the SUV car.

Police told-

Giving information about the road accident, Urvakonda Police Station Sub Inspector Venkata Swamy said that a case has been registered and further investigation is on.

According to sub-inspector Venkata Swamy, a total of nine passengers, including the driver, were in the car.

He told that the speed of the truck was very fast, due to which such a serious collision took place after the driver lost his control.
