PAGD’s warning to the central government, if the attitude is not changed, the consequences will be fatal for the whole country.

The leaders of the PAGD decided that they could not remain a mute spectator to the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mehbooba told all the constituents that we have to unite the common people also only then we will be successful in the objective. Kashmiris are constantly being suppressed.

When elections will be held, but we have to remain united. If people want to get out of all the troubles, then we have to move forward in unity.

The People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) has also indicated that it will contest future assembly elections, but will keep the reinstatement of Articles 370 and 35A on its back.

In the PAGD meeting held on Tuesday at the residence of National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, the proposal for reinstatement of Article 370 and 35A has been re-passed.

In this meeting, the central government was also accused of repeatedly humiliating the people of JK and it was said that if this attitude is not changed then the consequences will be fatal for the whole country.

In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in his speech on August 15 that preparations are on to conduct early elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

In view of this, a meeting of prominent leaders of all the constituent parties of PAGD has been held at Farooq Abdullah’s house.

PDP president Mehbooba Mufti, Awami National Conference’s acting president Muzaffar Shah and Jammu, and Kashmir People’s Movement chairman Javed Mustafa also attended.

In this meeting, which lasted for about two hours, only the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the upcoming assembly elections were discussed.

At the same time, Muzaffar Shah said that apart from discussing the agenda of the meeting, we have passed a resolution for the restoration of Article 370.

Everyone has also decided to run a public relations campaign.

PAGD has not compromised its agenda anywhere: Tarigami.

Talking to reporters after the meeting, Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami said that PAGD has not compromised its agenda anywhere.

We will see when elections are held, but before that other issues need to be resolved. Jammu and Kashmir did not get Article 370 and 35A just like that.

PAGD’s warning to the central government: This was guaranteed in the Indian Constitution.

In the meeting held today, we have passed a resolution to restore the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh and to restore the constitutional status before August 5, 2019.

He said that today all the major posts in the Jammu and Kashmir administration have officers called from other states, while the bureaucrats of Jammu and Kashmir cadre are neglected.

People are not able to express themselves openly. In this way, the situation in Kashmir will not be normal.
