What are the rules for the post of a minister?
In fact, according to Article 164(4) of the Constitution of India, a minister can remain in office for six months without being a member of either house.
But to retain his chair, he has to be elected to the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha within six months.
It is also necessary to be elected a member of the House. However, if a member of either house is not elected in the Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha within six months, then the minister will have to resign.
