A major accident took place in Madhya Pradesh this morning. A bus carrying 54 passengers fell into a canal at Sidhi. So far seven people have been rescued from the canal.
According to the latest information, 39 people have been confirmed dead due to drowning in the river so far. 39 dead bodies have been taken out. Rescue work is going on continuously.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also given all the necessary instructions. At the same time, PM Narendra Modi has approved an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the families of those who lost their lives due to a bus accident.

On the other hand, Home Minister Amit Shah talked to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan about the accident. The Home Minister gave information about this by tweeting.
Shah tweeted, “The bus accident in Sidhi district is very sad, I have spoken to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
The local administration is providing all possible help for relief and rescue. I express my deepest condolences to the relatives of the dead and wish the injured well soon.
The accident took place at Chuhiaghati near the Rewa-Sidhi border. This is the canal of the Bansagar project, in which the bus has fallen. The people evacuated from the canal have not yet been identified.
The search is on for the rest of the passengers. A team is present on the spot, the operation is going on.
At the time when this accident happened, the bus was going from direct to Satna. It is being told that the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the bus.
According to the report, the canal is so deep that the bus is completely submerged in it. Efforts are on to get the bus out of the crane.
The water coming out of Bansagar Dam has been closed. So that the bus can be stopped at high speed. It is reported that Baghwar, Chorgarhi, and other nearby passengers were also aboard the bus.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has talked to the direct collector regarding the bus accident.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the canal is quite deep. We immediately stopped the water from the dam and sent relief and rescue teams.
The team of Collector, SP, and SDRF have reached there. Efforts are being made to remove the bus. The Chief Minister said that he is in constant touch with the team doing relief and rescue operations. The Chief Minister said that 7 people have been saved in this accident.

He said that after talking to the officials concerned, it has been found that about 30 bodies have been found there.
After this accident, the nearby villagers and other people are busy taking out the people trapped in the bus. A large number of villagers have gathered on the spot.
