Badminton Academy: Saina Nehwal Sent Proposal To Govt. Saina Nehwal sent a proposal to the government to open a badminton academy in Himachal.

Badminton player Saina Nehwal has agreed to open a academy in Himachal Pradesh.

The Department of Youth Services and Sports has become active after receiving a written proposal from Saina Nehwal.

Officers have gathered to search five acres of land in and around Dharamshala.

It is expected that in the next financial year, Saina Nehwal will start the work of the Academy of ultra modern facilities.

Some time ago, on behalf of Saina Nehwal, the government received a written proposal to set up a badminton academy.

Academy will have the facility to practice and play for 100 players. In this, players of different age groups will be able to get training.

There will be a variety of facilities for molding the body including gym, steam bath, hydrotherapy. Eminent badminton stallers from abroad will also come for training.

Recently Saina Nehwal has met Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. She had expressed her wish at that time that if the government provides land and other facilities here.

She would like to open a badminton academy. Saina also met Governor Bandaru Dattatreya.

Talented youth will get a chance

Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department, Dr. SS Guleria says that with the establishment of an Academy in the state.

Talented youth will get an opportunity to advance in the field of sports. Saina Nehwal’s proposal will be a step towards expanding sports activities in the state.

Saina’s proposal came: Sports Minister

Youth Services and Sports Minister Rakesh Pathania says a written proposal has been received from Badminton player Saina Nehwal to set up the academy.

In which he has requested to provide five acres of land. We would like Saina to set up an Academy in Himachal. For this, every possible facility will be provided by the government.
