Mehbooba Mufti accused police of putting her under house arrest. Mehbooba once again under house arrest was preparing to take out a rally against the Hyderpora encounter.

PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti have once again accused the police of putting her under house arrest.

Police have banned Mehbooba from going outside and inside her locked house outside the Fairview Gupkar residence in Srinagar.

It is being told that like in Jammu, Mehbooba Mufti was preparing to take out a fury rally with her supporters in protest against the death of locals killed in the Hyderpora encounter in Srinagar.

During her visit to Jammu, Mehbooba Mufti along with her supporters took out a protest rally against the Hyderpora encounter and demanded a judicial inquiry into the matter.

She said that the way the security forces are making their shields to the common people during the encounter, there is anger among the people here.

On the other hand, Mehbooba Mufti says that she was going to meet the relatives of Altaf and Dr. Mudassar, who were killed in the Hyderpora encounter, not a protest rally.

She said that she wanted to meet their families and offer condolences to them, but as she was preparing to leave her house, her security guards closed the main gate and asked her to stay indoors.

It is also learned that Mehbooba Mufti expressed strong anguish over this attitude of the police and also spoke to senior officers in this regard but she was not allowed to step out.

Anti Narcotics Task Force arrested two interstate drug dealers from Delhi and Ghaziabad

Anti Narcotics Task Force Jammu has raided two inter-state drug dealers in Delhi and Ghaziabad.

Both the accused are said to be big dealers of banned drugs who used to supply intoxicants to other parts of the country besides Jammu and Kashmir.

The accused have been identified as Ajay Gupta alias Bunty resident of Govindpuram, Ghaziabad, and Shirshak Sharma alias Honey resident of Shahdara, Delhi.

To nab both the accused, teams had left from Jammu under the leadership of DSP Arun Jamwal, who nabbed both with the help of Delhi and Ghaziabad police.

SSP ANTF Vinay Sharma told that the accused had made big godowns in which they used to store drugs. Apart from drugs, they also supplied cocaine, heroin, and other narcotics.

After arresting the accused, the police have brought them to Jammu and after interrogating them, they are getting information about their Jammu contacts.
