74,67,256 people are eligible to cast their votes for the GHMC election. The electorate consists of 38,89,637 men and 35,76,941 women and 678 others.
Many candidates are in the fray
Talking about elections, a total of 1,122 candidates are in the fray for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) election.
In this, 150 candidates of TRS, 149 of BJP, 146 of Congress, 106 of TDP, 51 of AIMIM, 17 of CPI, 12 of CPI, and 76 and 415 independents or other recognized regional parties are in the fray.
