Today i.e. December 1 is the foundation day of Nagaland every year. On this occasion, veterans including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated the people of Nagaland.

He further wrote that the people of Nagaland are known for their courage and compassionate attitude. His culture and his role in the development of India are imitative.
He said, ‘I pray for the sustainable development of Nagaland’. Situated on the border in the northeast of the country, Nagaland is full of diversity and home to many tribal groups.
This state was formed in the year 1963.
The President of the country Ramnath Kovind has also congratulated Nagaland on its foundation day.
