Resignation submitted to Governor Bhagat Singh after visiting Raj Bhavan

Uddhav Thackeray went to the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai late on Wednesday and submitted his resignation to Governor Bhagat Singh.

Along with him, his son and cabinet minister Aditya Thackeray, cabinet minister Anil Parab from NCP quota, and many senior ministers also reached Raj Bhavan.

Rebel MLAs reach Goa.

Rebel MLAs of Shiv Sena, including Goa CM Pramod Sawant, arrived at the Taj Hotel in Panaji, the capital of Goa, late on Wednesday night.

Deepak Kesarkar, a rebel Shiv Sena MLA and a close aide of Uddhav Thackeray, said that Uddhav ji’s resignation is not a matter of happiness.

Names of Aurangabad and Osmanabad changed.

Ahead of Uddhav Thackeray’s resignation as Chief Minister on Wednesday night, the MVA government changed the names of two cities of the state, Aurangabad, and Osmanabad, in a cabinet meeting.

Apart from this, the new airport being built in Navi Mumbai was also renamed. Thackeray also expressed his gratitude to his cabinet colleagues and officers for their cooperation after the meeting.
