Karnataka’s animal husbandry minister Prabhu Chauhan said on Tuesday that a law will be enacted to ban cow slaughter and beef sales in the upcoming assembly session starting December 7.
Talking to the media, Chauhan said that the law made in these various states is being studied in this regard. Experts are also being consulted on this.
Former minister Roshan Baig in CBI custody for three days
Former Karnataka minister and Congress leader Roshan Baig, arrested in the multi-million rupee I-Monetary Advisory (IMA) Ponzi scam, was remanded to three-day CBI custody by the special court on Wednesday.
He was arrested on Monday in this case. CBI sources have said that they will be confronted with the main accused in the case, Muhammad Mansoor Khan.
The investigation agency can get important information related to the scam by interrogating both of them.
Chargesheet in Arunachal’s Cash for Job scam
In Arunachal Pradesh’s Cash for Job scam, 23 people including a woman have been arrested.
