The body of Lata Mangeshkar will be taken to her residence at around 12:30. The last rites will be performed today at 6.30 pm at Shivaji Park with full state honors.

A few hours later, Lata Mangeshkar’s younger sister veteran singer Asha Bhosle reached Breach Candy Hospital to know her well-being.
While returning from the hospital on Saturday, Asha had told that the condition of Lata didi is stable.
After the news of Lata Ji’s health is critical spread, Rashmi Thackeray, wife of Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, MNS chief Raj Thackeray also reached the hospital to know her well being.
At the same time, late at night, Union Minister Piyush Goyal met Lata Mangeshkar’s family members and conveyed the congratulatory message of PM Narendra Modi to them.
She was hospitalized on January 8.

“So she will be under the supervision of doctors in the ICU for a few more days. Her condition is as before and no one is allowed to meet her.”
Lata Mangeshkar was also suffering from pneumonia along with a corona infection.

According to the health update given on January 25, there was a slight improvement in the health of Lata Mangeshkar.
She was ill for 29 days.

On 29 January, Dr. Samdani had information that Lata Ji’s health was improving slightly and she was removed from the ventilator but was under the supervision of doctors in the ICU itself.
