The state government had also built a building in the name of Lal Bahadur Shastri in Kumar Ashram.

Senior Congress leader Chaudhary Yashpal Singh told that the former Prime Minister’s son MP Harikishan Shastri had visited the ashram to gather facts for this book.
Dr. Seema Gautam told that the annual function of Kumar Ashram was celebrated on a large scale in 1934.
Sarojini Naidu was the chairman and Dr. Zakir Hussain also came. Lal Bahadur Shastri was the convener of this event.
