La Liga: Real Madrid team lost their chance to reach the top, played with Sevia.

Defending champions Real Madrid lost their chance to top the Spanish Football League La Liga by playing a crucial match 2–2 against Sevia.

The result benefited first-placed Atletico Madrid, who played a goalless draw against Barcelona on Saturday.

Atletico have 77 points from 35 matches while Real Madrid have 75 points from the same number of matches. Barcelona also have the same number of points as Real, but they are behind in goal difference.

Now these three teams have three more matches to play and apart from them Sevia is also in the race for the title. Sevia has 71 points from 35 matches.

Sevia gained the lead twice. The second goal was scored on penalty for which Video Assistant Review (WAR) was resorted to.

Real later lodged a complaint about this too. Fernando gave Sevia the lead in the 22nd minute and held it until the first half. Marco Essencio scored an equalizer for Real in the 67th minute.

Sevia’s Ivan Rakitic converted a penalty in the 78th minute. Real were in danger of losing but Eden Hazard scored a goal in the fourth minute of the second half of injury time.

In other matches, Valencia scored two goals from Maxi Gomez and a goal from Thierry Korea to give Valladolid 3 Defeated -0. Celta Vigo defeated Villarreal 4–2 while Eiber defeated Gatfé 1–0.

Uzbekistan to host Group H and I matches of AFC Champions League.

The Confederation of Asian Football (AFC) said on Monday that Uzbekistan will host the remaining Champions League (East) Group-H and I matches from June 25 to July 11.

The AFC gave this information. The decision followed the venue selection process for the group stage of the AFC Champions League.

The Thailand Football Association has confirmed the hosting of Group-F, G and J matches from 22 June to 11 July.

Uzbekistan will also host the play-off stage match between South Korea’s Degu FC and Thailand’s Chiangrei United on 23 June. The winner of this match will get a place in Group-I.
