The youth of Jammu and Kashmir will have an important role in ending terrorism and establishing peace.
The central government is soon going to launch a large-scale campaign to recruit local youth in the army and central paramilitary forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
It will begin with an army recruitment rally in March. Apart from this, separate recruitment rallies will also be organized by CRPF, BSF, CISF, SSB, and ITBP.
The Union Home Ministry and the Ministry of Defense have approved the recruitment rallies at their respective levels.
The central government has decided to launch a special campaign for the recruitment of Kashmiri youth on the basis of interactions held at various levels with representatives of various political parties, social and civil society organizations of Jammu and Kashmir.
Concerned officials said that wherever the Army, BSF, and CRPF have organized dialogue programs with the local people in various villages and towns in Kashmir, people had requested special recruitment for the youth of their region.
The concerned organizations have also sent reports from time to time to the Central Government to improve the situation in Jammu and Kashmir through proper means, including the suggestion of recruitment rallies.
Center summoned details of vacancies at constable level: After the implementation of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, the central government had prepared an action plan to organize recruitment rallies in the year 2020, but it started with the onset of the Corona epidemic crisis.
The exercise had cooled down. After the emergence of Corona, now active in this direction has intensified again.
It is being told that the Central Government has also summoned a statement on the vacancies available at the level of Constable level from all the Central Paramilitary so that a basis for the recruitment rally in the state can be prepared.
Priority will be given to those areas where nominal representation: The concerned officials said that the process of recruitment rallies in Jammu and Kashmir will begin on March 24, 2021, from the recruitment of the army.
In this three-day recruitment rally to be held at Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry’s Regimental Center in Srinagar, only the youth of Jammu and Kashmir will get the opportunity for the first two days.
On the third day, youth from other states of the country will get a chance to join the recruitment rally.
This recruitment rally will be in line with the military headquarters quota. Shortly after this recruitment rally, the army will organize another recruitment rally, in which qualified youth from any part of the state will be able to participate.
According to the officials concerned, the recruitment rallies will give priority to the youth of those areas who are not represented in the paramilitary or are nominal.
