Karnataka Police Summons Vivek Oberoi’s Wife In Drug Case

Karnataka Police summons Vivek Oberoi’s wife for the second time in a drug case. Bengaluru’s Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Karnataka police on Saturday issued summons to Priyanka, wife of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi.

Priyanka is also the sister of Aditya Alva, who is absconding in the high-profile drug case. A senior Karnataka police officer, while talking to reporters, confirmed that the police has sent another summon to Priyanka through WhatsApp. Her first summons was sent on Thursday, asking her to appear before the CCB on Friday, but she did not appear.

Earlier notice was issued on 16 October

Let us know that earlier on 16 October, City Crime Branch, Bangalore issued a notice to Priyanka Alva, wife of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, in view of the connection of brother Aditya Alva in the drug case. Please tell that Aditya Alva is wanted in a drug case.

The CCB also conducted a raid on Vivek Oberoi’s Mumbai residence on Thursday over the search of Aditya. During the raid on Vivek’s house, the police had told that Alva is a relative of Vivek and he was informed that Aditya is at his house, so we reached here in search of him.

For this, the police took a warrant from the court. Aditya Alva, son of former Karnataka minister Jeevaraj Alva, is one of the accused in the Sandalwood drugs racket.

For information, let us know that Aditya is absconding since the case was registered at the Cottonpet police station. His father Jeevaraj Alva was known for his skill in collecting funding.

At the same time, Aditya’s mother Nandini Alva is also counted among the eminent people of the state. He is a renowned dancer and event organizer.

Before that, Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi was arrested for her alleged involvement in a drug case and sent to custody. Possibly, Kannada filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh had appeared before the CCB and had given information about the use of drugs in the Kannada film industry.
