BJP national president JP Nadda is on a tour of Bengal once again with the aim of garnering public support for the party in view of the upcoming assembly elections.

On Saturday, he attended a khichdi banquet with more than 3,000 farmers at Shahpur village in Malda. During this, while addressing the farmers, Nadda fiercely targeted Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

He said that the Mamta government has done injustice to millions of farmers of Bengal by depriving them of the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. He said that this time the people of Bengal have made up their mind to buy bye-bye.

After the assembly elections, he claimed that the BJP would form the government in the state with a more than two-thirds majority.

Nadda said that today all of us have joined the farmer protection campaign here in a partnership program with the farmer. I will also gather together with you and eat food at the farmers association.

Taking a dig at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Nadda said that today, when about 25 lakh farmers of Bengal sent applications for the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme to the Central Government, Mamta Ji says that I will implement the scheme as well.

BJP President asked Didi to get angry at Jai Shri Ram’s slogan.

While addressing the farmers in Malda, BJP President JP Nadda also directly attacked Mamata Banerjee and asked “Didi get angry on Jai Shri Ram’s slogan?” He insisted that Bengal had made up its mind to buy Didi by-by.

After reaching Kolkata late on Friday night, Nadda arrived in Malda district on Saturday morning by helicopter. Although he was scheduled to arrive in Malda at 10:00 am, he reached Malda with a delay of about one and a half hours.

After reaching here, the BJP President first reached the Mango Research Institute. Here he also interacted with the farmers. During this time, the farmers presented a mango plant to the BJP president.

After visiting here, Nadda has reached Shahpur village in Malda. Nadda will take part in a mass feast with over 3,000 farmers here.

In fact, khichdi and other dishes have been made here from the grains stored by the BJP under a handful rice collection campaign run under the farmer protection campaign in the state, in which Nadda will sit and eat food with the farmers.

With this, the rice collection campaign will also end, which was started by Nadda last month from Katwa in the East Barddhaman district of Bengal.

After this, he has a roadshow program from Foara Road in Malda to Rabindranath Thakur’s statue from 12:30 pm. However, due to late arrival in Malda, the roadshow will also start late.

Nadda will flag off BJP’s Parivartan Yatra from Navadwip of Nadia today

After this, Nadda will leave for Navdwip in the Nadia district, from where he will flag off BJP’s Parivartan Yatra at around 3:30 pm.

Here he will also address a public meeting. BJP has made complete preparations for this. Earlier, the BJP president will also pay tribute to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the saint of the Bhakti movement in Navadvip.

He is scheduled to visit Sri Gaurang birthplace Ashram in Navadwip at 3:00 pm, where he will pay homage.

Significantly, the state BJP unit is going to start the Parivartan Yatra from Saturday before the assembly elections to overthrowing the Trinamool Congress government in Bengal.

With this, the Parivartan Yatra will begin in five phases from five different places which will pass through all 294 assembly constituencies of the state.
