This dream was seen in 2004. Meanwhile, in 2012, the then Akhilesh Yadav government rejected the airport proposal. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath showed his commitment as soon as he took over the power of the state three years ago and now this project is going to hit the ground.

On Wednesday, a landmark agreement was reached between Noida International Airport Company Limited (Niall) and the manufacturing Swiss company Zurich Airport International AG.

Although there are many achievements in the Yogi government’s account, including the Bundelkhand Express and the Ganga Express-Way, this is the biggest achievement so far.

The employment agenda that Yogi Adityanath had prepared will fulfill it. With this world-class airport, not only will the development of Uttar Pradesh including Gautam Buddha Nagar and adjoining cities of Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Mathura and Agra, will also benefit Uttarakhand, Delhi and Haryana.

Due to Yamuna Expressway, Eastern-Western Peripheral Expressway, and Metro, there will be better connectivity from these cities to Noida Airport. After the airport is built, the said areas will be connected to domestic and international locations. This will also provide additional capacity to Delhi NCR.

Noida Airport will give prominence to Indian culture and hospitality. Jobs will be created after construction. In future, Uttar Pradesh will become the most preferred state for domestic and foreign investors. This will promote economic progress in Uttar Pradesh.

Investment opportunities will also arise in the development of the industry associated with the aviation sector. Aviation Hub, Business Park, Technical Communication, Industry Park, Financial Hub and Logistic Park will also be constructed.

Land price will increase

After the airport is built, the price of land will increase from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Aligarh. Its direct benefit will be to the farmers. Brijesh Kumar, former CEO and chairman of Greater Noida, said the airport would be a profitable deal for the entire district.

The price of land falling within a radius of about 50 km will increase. Small industries will be set up on the ground. This will increase people’s income.

Tour & Travels

People from Gautam Budh Nagar to Agra will benefit from the creation of an international airport at Jewar. A large number of foreign tourists will visit Mathura and Vrindavan, the cities of Taj Mahal and Lord Krishna.

With the arrival of tourists, the possibility of employment in the area of ​​tour and travels in the area will increase. People will be able to make a living by driving taxis, autos and buses.

Agreement signed with Swiss company

Let us know that Noida International Airport has set a record in almost three years by traveling from the principle to the agreement. In July 2017, the airport received site clearance from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and a concession agreement with the developer company in October.

Airport will be built in 4 phases

The international airport at Jewar in Greater Noida will be built in four phases. By the time the final phase is completed, the airport will have seven crore passengers annually. The final phase will be completed by FY 2040.

The cost of the project till the final phase will be Rs 29650 crore, while in the first phase 4588 crore, in the second phase there will be 30 crore passengers annually and the cost of the project will be Rs 5983 crore.

By the third phase, the cost of the project will be 8415 crore and passenger will be five crore annually.

There was stiff competition in bid

The competition at Noida International Airport was very strong. Delhi International Airport Limited bid Rs 351 per passenger. Zurich Airport International AG bid Rs 400.97 per passenger, Adani Enterprises 360, Anchorage Investment Holding Ltd Rs 205 per passenger. The stake was held by Zurikhi Airport International AG.

Hotel & Restaurant

After the formation of the airport, there will be five, Seven Star hotels and restaurants along the Yamuna Expressway from Greater Noida to Jewar. These will have pubs and other recreational facilities.

In these, local people will get employment near their homes. Less educated people will supply milk and vegetables in hotels.

Industrial development will increase

After the airport is built, there will be better connectivity for other countries and states. According to retired IAS T. George Joseph, industrial development has taken place wherever the airport is located.

Every section will benefit from the establishment of the industry. If the investment in Uttar Pradesh increases, the government will also get revenue. This will develop the state.
