Income Tax Department raids on Hero Motorcorp’s promoter Pawan Munjal’s house and office: Pawan Munjal.
The Income Tax Department team on Wednesday raided several premises of two-wheeler segment giant Hero MotoCorp and the residence of group chairman Pawan Munjal.
The searches are being carried out at Gurugram, Haryana, Delhi, the offices of promoters including group chairman and CEO Pawan Munjal, residential premises, and some other places.
The Income Tax Department team is probing the financial documents and other business transactions of the company and its promoters.
The company’s response in this matter is awaited. It is noteworthy that Hero MotoCorp is the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing company.
The company does its business in more than 40 countries. This company also has a presence in countries like Asia, Africa, America.
The company continues to have a leading position in the domestic two-wheeler segment. So far, it has sold over 100 million units in the domestic and international markets.

The goal of this alliance is to set up 7000 energy stations across the country. Hero MotoCorp will soon start infrastructure development in the cities of Delhi and Bangalore.
Each charging station will be provided with multiple charging points including DC and AC chargers, which will be available for use by all two-wheeler EVs.
The entire charging experience for the user will be controlled through a mobile app from Hero MotoCorp and the mode of the transaction will be cashless.
Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav brought by air ambulance to Delhi, admitted to AIIMS
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav’s health has deteriorated. Because of this, he was brought to Delhi airport by air ambulance from Ranchi on Tuesday.
He was brought to AIIMS by ambulance from the airport at around 9:05 pm, where he is currently admitted to the emergency ward. Emergency medicine doctors examined his health.
