Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Martyrdom Day Today: Prime Minister Modi arrived in Delhi’s Gurdwara Rakabganj in the morning, paid tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in Delhi on Sunday morning and paid tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur for his supreme sacrifice.

PM Modi’s visit was not scheduled in advance. According to the information received, PM Modi came to the gurdwara in the morning and paid tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and remembered him.

The security system was tightened as soon as PM Modi came to the gurdwara. Major officers of Delhi Police were also present on the spot.

The people of the Sikh community celebrate Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Martyrdom Day today. People are remembering Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Devotees are visiting the gurudwaras and remembering Tegh Bahadur Ji.

The Prime Minister also tweeted and paid tribute to the Sikh Guru in Punjabi. He said that the life of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is a symbol of courage and compassion.

CM Kejriwal also paid tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib

Earlier on Saturday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also tweeted and paid tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.

He tweeted, ‘Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji on the Martyrdom Day,’ Koti Koti Naman ‘to him.

Kejriwal bowed to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib by writing on Twitter in both Punjabi and Hindi languages.

Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was martyred in Delhi

Please tell that the Punjabi community is celebrating the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji today. Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth of 10 Sikh Gurus, was born in 1621 and was martyred in 1675 in Delhi.
