Farmers shut down all lanes of Delhi Meerut Expressway, gruesome jam: Farmers Protest.

Demonstrations by farmers of several states including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh on the three central agricultural laws entered the 19th day on Monday.

At the same time, farmers across the country have started a hunger strike till 5 pm with their demands.

All the lanes of the Delhi Meerut Expressway located at the UP Gate border have been shut down by the farmers, causing a huge traffic jam. The Delhi-Jaipur highway has been jammed for more than 20 hours.

The agitators are sitting on the Delhi-Jaipur highway encamping against the agricultural laws. The agitators stayed overnight on the highway. Now the mornings are again involved in making new strategies.

At the same time, the administration officials have also reached the Jaisinghpur Kheda border where the agitators are sitting. A heavy police force is deployed on the spot.

In support of the farmers, various organizations had gathered in Shahjahanpur, Rajasthan on Sunday and traveled to Delhi.

Swaraj India president Yogendra Yadav, Medha Patkar, and people of other organizations have taken over the reins of the movement.

Ram Niwas Goyal, Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, is sitting on a dharna near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the assembly premises regarding the issue of farmers in the country.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is also on a fast on Monday.

Meanwhile, on the resignation of several leaders, including the National General Secretary of the Indian Farmers Union Bhanu.

Rakesh Tikait has said in a clear manner that he has resigned after his leaders were angry over the compromise. There is no split among the farmers.

While informing about the sequel of the agitation, on Sunday itself, the farmer leaders had said that on Monday, farmers in the whole country will stage a protest outside the houses of BJP leaders.

The memorandum will be handed out by demonstrating at the district headquarters and farmer leaders will go on a day-long fast at the protest site.

Farmers have been staging a sit-in at the horoscope border for 18 days to demand cancellation of agricultural laws.

Talking to reporters on Sunday, farmer leaders said that so far there has been a proposal from the government to guarantee five amendments and MSP, which the farmers have rejected.

They want to repeal all the three laws and if the government makes a new proposal on this, then there can be talks after consideration. The farmers have not closed the path of dialogue.

The farmers have decided that without consensus, no farmer leader will announce the new movement. All jathabandis have been informed for this.

Farmer leaders Shivkumar Kaka, Rakesh Tikait, Gurnam Singh Chaduni and Buta Singh Burjgil were present in the press conference.

He told that what will be the next strategy of the movement will be announced after Monday’s meeting.

The peasant groups will meet and formulate the next strategy to increase pressure on Delhi.

He expressed his displeasure with the government of the Center and the states that despite all the documents.

The vehicles of the farmers are being stopped in the name of checking in place and fines are being imposed.

He said that the more the delay, the greater the participation of people in the movement.

Farmers protest at UP gate till 5 pm

Farmers will go on hunger strike from 8 am to 5 pm on Monday at UP Gate. Farmers have started preparing to sit on hunger strike. Women farmers will also be involved in the fast.

Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, said that a large number of farmers are arriving at the UP gate with agricultural implements.

It is a historical movement. The government wants to break the unity of farmers.
