Explosion in the car of former Maldives President Mohammad Nasheed admitted to the hospital.

President of Maldives Parliament Majlis and former President Mohammad Nasheed succumbed to an accident. When the former president was sitting in his car, a sudden explosion exploded in his car.

According to sources, the car exploded near the former President Nasheed’s G. Kejri residence. The Maldives Police has not yet released any statement regarding this explosion.

At the same time, diplomatic sources said that Nasheed had minor injuries and was admitted to a local hospital nearby. His bodyguard has also been injured in this car explosion.

Mohammad Nasheed has been taken to the ADK Hospital in Male for treatment, where he is undergoing treatment. Mahmud of Nasheed’s Maldivian Democratic Party said that I am very worried.

This is a terrorist incident. Strict action should be taken against those involved in this incident.

The investigation has been started regarding the attack on the former president. The movement of common people has been banned at the scene in the capital city of Male.

Mohammad Nasheed, 53, has been President from 2008 to 2012 and currently serves as the Speaker of the Parliament Majlis.

Sri Lanka imposes ban on arrival of passengers from India, steps are taken due to growing cases of Corona

Sri Lanka on Thursday announced a moratorium on the arrival of passengers from India with immediate effect due to a sharp increase in Corona cases.

Many countries including Britain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Australia, Singapore have already banned travelers coming from India.

The Civil Aviation Authority said on Thursday that passengers from India would not be allowed to come to Sri Lanka. This step has been taken due to the fast-growing cases of coronavirus in India.

The Director-General of Civil Aviation has written a letter in this regard to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the national airline Sri Lanka Airlines.

He has written in the letter, that in accordance with the instructions received from the Sri Lankan health authorities regarding the situation of the corona epidemic.

It is directed that passengers coming from India with immediate effect will not be allowed to come to Sri Lanka.
