Elections will be held in Kashmir soon, PM Modi gave hints from Red Fort. Elections will be held soon in Jammu and Kashmir. The government is busy preparing for this.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today mentioned Kashmir in his address from the ramparts of the Red Fort. In his address, he indicated early elections in Kashmir.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the process of delimitation is going on in Jammu and Kashmir and also said that elections will be held soon in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Giving his seventh consecutive speech from the ramparts of the country’s iconic Red Fort, he said that the process of delimitation is going on in Jammu and Kashmir.

Once this is completed, there will be an election in the union territory. He also informed that Jammu and Kashmir will have its Chief Minister and Ministers. He said that we are committed to holding elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the country is committed and is also striving to hold elections in Jammu and Kashmir. We also want Jammu and Kashmir to get its own MLA, meet its ministers, and get its government.

He said that under the supervision of a retired judge of the Supreme Court, delimitation is underway in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that after completion of delimitation, elections will be held there with new energy.

The government is doing its best for this. PM Modi said that the true strength of democracy lies in the local units. It is a matter of pride for all of us that the representatives of the local units in Jammu and Kashmir are pushing forward a new era of development with activism and sensitivity.

PM Modi also mentioned a year of removing Article 370 in Kashmir. He said that this year is the year of a new development journey of Jammu and Kashmir.

This year is the year of rights for women and Dalits in Jammu and Kashmir. It is also a year of the dignified life of refugees in Jammu and Kashmir.
