Eight killed in fire at e-bike showroom in Secunderabad, people jumped from window to save a life: Telangana.

A massive fire broke out in a showroom in Secunderabad, Telangana. Eight people have died due to a fire that broke out in an e-bike showroom last night.

The fire brigade reached the spot and doused the fire. Many people have also been injured in the accident.

According to the news agency, this incident happened last evening. Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand has confirmed the death of eight people in the accident.

The injured have been admitted to Gandhi and Yashoda Hospitals. It is not yet known what caused the fire.

Many e-bikes burnt down.

Eyewitnesses have given more details about the accident. A person said that the fire broke out on the ground floor of the first e-bike showroom.

Smoke from the fire had reached the second floor of the showroom. The fire brigade was immediately informed about the fire. Fire brigade workers rescued 9 people trapped in the showroom.

People jumping out of windows.

It is being told that some people jumped out of the window of the showroom to save their lives.

State Animal Husbandry Minister T. Srinivas Yadav reached the spot and supervised the rescue and relief operations. Presently the matter is being investigated.

PM announced compensation.

PM Narendra Modi has also expressed grief over this accident.

On behalf of the PMO, it was said by tweeting that Rs 2 lakh will be given to the kin of each deceased from PMNRF, and 50,000 will be given to the injured.

Telangana Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali has expressed concern.

Terming it unfortunate, the Home Minister said that the fire brigade team tried hard to rescue the people trapped in the showroom, but some people died due to suffocation.

Some people have been evicted. The accident is being investigated.

2 people from Delhi were also among the dead in the Secunderabad hotel fire, 3 are yet to be identified.

Telangana Police is trying to identify those who lost their lives in the fire in the Secunderabad hotel.

So far 8 people have been confirmed dead in this incident, out of which 2 are said to be residents of Delhi, 2 Chennai, and 1 Vijayawada.

The identity of the other 3 dead is yet to be ascertained. Hyderabad North DCP Chandana Deepti said that the fire started at around 9:30 last night.

There is an electric vehicle showroom in the basement of the hotel, where many electric bikes were parked.

There is no concrete information yet about what caused the fire. Eight people have died in the incident and some are hospitalized. A case has been registered.
