Delhi HC dismisses plea seeking derecongnition of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party.

The Anna YSR Congress has filed a plea seeking  the cancellation of the registration  of Yuvajan Shramik Rythu (YSR) party.

The Delhi HC on Friday dismisses  plea seeking cancellation of the registration of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s Yuvajan Shramik Rythu (YSR) Congress Party.

The court, while hearing today, said that the entire case of the petitioner is baseless and dismissed the petition.

Justice Prateek Jalan has delivered the judgment on a petition filed by Anna YSR Congress Party (petitioner). The court said that the petition is completely baseless and dismissed it.

IGI made it again in the list of green airports, Hyderabad airport also included

Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) has once again found a place in the list of green airports under the Asia Pacific region by the Airports Council International.

Apart from IGI, Hyderabad Airport has also been included in this. Both the airports have got a place in the list due to the continuous efforts being made for environmental protection.

IGI operated by DIAL has got Platinum Category Airport status in this list, while Hyderabad Airport has been placed in Gold Category.

The purpose of releasing this list is to encourage better efforts for the prevention of pollution due to activities at airports.

Each year a different theme for this competition is determined by the Airport Council International. The theme for this year was Air Quality Management.

Under this management, the air quality of the local environment of the airport and the surrounding area was to be kept right.

The operation of taxi boats at the airport by DIAL was considered a good initiative in this direction. Even before this, the efforts made by DIAL in this direction have been appreciated.

This is the fifth year in a row that IGI has received the award for environmental protection.

According to DIAL, 532 tonnes of carbon emissions have been reduced at Delhi airport by the use of taxi boats. Apart from this, 2.14 lakh liters of fuel have also been saved.

Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO, DIAL, said that the Delhi airport has to reach zero in terms of carbon emissions by 2030. He has congratulated all the personnel of IGI Airport for this achievement.
