Budgam attack: Terrorists ambushed CRPF patrol party, no harm. On Friday, terrorists ambushed a CRPF patrol in Budgam’s Karalpora area.

No damage has been reported in this attack. In retaliation for the soldiers, the terrorists fled from there. At present, the jawans have launched a search operation to nab the terrorists.

According to the information received here, a team of Delta Company of 29th Corps of CRPF was on regular patrol in Bilalabad, Karalpora this morning.

Budgam attack: When the soldiers reached near the fields on the outskirts of the village, the terrorists hiding there opened fire on them.

The soldiers retaliated by defending themselves. On this, the terrorists fled from there. The soldiers have launched a search operation encircling the entire area.

CRPF spokesman Abhiram said that the terrorists hiding in the fields in Karalpora attacked the CRPF patrol. There was no damage in this attack. Siege and search are being done to nab the terrorists.

However, the CRPF spokesperson did not confirm the incident of stone-pelting and hurling of hurled stones at the CRPF camp near Dooniwari in the same area in the morning allegedly by the CRPF personnel.

Jammu: Bail application rejected in DAG’s murder case, all three accused have been sentenced to life imprisonment.

The Division Bench of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court has rejected the bail applications filed by the three accused in the murder of Deputy Advocate General (DAG) Ajit Dogra.

All the three accused have been sentenced to life imprisonment by the trial court. The accused had also challenged this sentence and demanded to reduce it, but the bench refused to do so and dismissed the petition of the accused.

According to the case, on January 10, 2008, Sub Inspector Shivdev Singh was doing patrolling duty first.

During this,Mangalam , a resident of  Udaiwala, told Shivdev Singh that Vishal Sharma, his brother Vikas Sharma, Rohit Kumar, Labbaram, Ashok Kumar, and three others had attacked Deputy Advocate General Ajit Dogra.

When the police investigated the case, it was found that Vishal Sharma, Labbaram, and Ashok Kumar used to work in the property and they sold the land to Hakikat Raj by making fake documents under a conspiracy.

The then Deputy Advocate General Ajit Dogra filed a case in the court regarding this. Due to this, he along with the other accused made a plan to get Ajit Dogra out of the way and killed him on 10 January 2008.
