The Tamil Nadu government is likely to take a decision on the Tamil Nadu Board 12th (HS) exam 2021 today, i.e. on June 4, 2021.

Following the Centre’s decision to cancel CBSE’s 12th board exams, the Tamil Nadu government had informed stakeholders to consult and make a decision on class 12th exams in a day or two.

In such a situation, it is expected that a decision regarding the examination will be taken today.

The state government was informed that parents or guardians, academicians, and health experts would be consulted regarding conducting or canceling the 12th examination 2021.

Earlier, the Government of Tamil Nadu had shown its interest in conducting the TN HS (Plus 2) Exam 2021.

However, the final decision is yet to be taken. There is a possibility that the examination may be canceled in view of the cases of Covid.

Tamilnadu Board 12th Exam 2021: On the other hand, students, parents, and teachers have requested the state government to cancel the 12th exam 2021.

Teachers and educationists are of the view that the children are under severe stress and anxiety and the government should take immediate steps to cancel the 12th examination keeping in view the safety of the students.

Let us inform you that the Tamil Nadu Board 12th examination was to be conducted from May 3, which was postponed due to the increase in Covid cases. The exam was to be conducted from May 3 to May 21.

Earlier, the Tamil Nadu government had canceled the SSLC and Plus 1 exam in the state. The authorities had decided to give mass promotions to the students.

At the same time, instructions were given to conduct all classes online for college students.

The government had directed all coaching institutes to suspend physical classes, though it was allowed to conduct online classes.
