Delhi Deputy CM Sisodia No. 1 accused in CBI FIR, names of a total of 16 people.

After the raid on the residence of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, now the information about the FIR registered by the CBI has also come to the fore.

In this FIR, the accused Deputy CM Sisodia has been made number one. After this IAS Aarav, Gopi Krishna has been made accused.

In the FIR, along with a total of 16 people, a company has also been made accused.

It is noteworthy that besides the premises of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Aarav Gopi Krishna, 25 places were raided on Friday.

Officials said the CBI has registered an FIR in connection with alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi Excise Policy, which was brought in November last year.

What is in an FIR?

In the FIR registered by the CBI, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is accused of violating government rules in excise policy formation and execution.

Along with this, there is also an allegation of scam in the process of giving benefits to liquor producers without the permission of LG, returning the EMD of liquor sellers, and granting L1, and L7 licenses.

Along with this, there are allegations of disturbances in the Cane Beer policy.

It is noteworthy that LG VK. Saxena had recommended a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the alleged irregularities in the implementation of the Excise Policy 2021-22.

He said that the CBI inquiry was recommended on the basis of the report given by the Chief Secretary of Delhi in July, which included the Government of National Capital Territory Act 1991, Working Rules (TOBR)-1993, Delhi Excise Act-2009, and Delhi Excise Act.

It was said that there was a prima facie violation of Rule 2010.
