Dark 7 White Review: Interesting Game Of Murder Mystery

Dark 7 White Review: Interesting game of Murder Mystery with political stunts, Sumit Vyas’s ‘Dark 7 White‘.

Cinema or series, crime for producers, is considered the safest genre in the entertainment world.

The success of Mirzapur to Sacred Games and Delhi Crime testifies that crime-based content does not allow the bank balances of manufacturers to deteriorate.

Yes, the quality of content can be debated. Zee 5 and Alt Balaji understood this popularity formula long back and are bringing crime based drama one after the other.

After ‘Scorpion’s Game’ the new shared offering of these two OTT platforms is ‘Dark 7 White’, which is the screen adaptation of Shweta Brijpuria’s crime-thriller English novel ‘Dark White’.

The story revolves around the investigation of the murder of a young chief minister and seven suspects. That is why the title of the series places a score of 7 between Dark and White.

The 10-episode series is released today (November 24) on both of these OTT platforms.

The ‘Dark 7 White’ series is basically a murder mystery, but the story carries a lot of political tricks, intrigues, crappy relationships and intrigues.

Set in the royal and political backdrop of Rajasthan, the series begins with Yudhveer Singh, or UD (Sumit Vyas), who has become the youngest CM.

Yudhveer Singh belongs to a royal family of Rajasthan.

There is a royal blood in the veins, but the democracy in the country has taken away that feeling of power, due to which the princes ruled for centuries.

Due to this constancy, gaining power has become a weakness of Yudhveer. In democracy, this power comes from the chair.

Therefore, he intends to sit on the highest seat of power in the state and does all the conspiracies.

Kills his girlfriend Tashi. The CM traps his daughter Daisy (Nidhi Singh) in a love trap to win the trust of Bhaironath Singh, but leaves life with her when CM gets the chair.

However, he does not get this chair from the election, but he also has a surprising conspiracy behind it.

However, even before sitting on the CM’s chair, he is murdered at the time when he is going to take oath of the post of CM along with his Lashkar.

The murder of CM is being investigated by ACP Abhimanyu Singh (Jatin Sarna), who has 7 people on his radar.

All these are close to Yudhveer and with his help, he climbed the stairs of success from student politics to politics in the state within 10 years.

These are seven people – Neelakshi Garg alias Neelu, who is a college-time girlfriend of Yudhveer and who he has been using according to his own.

The second suspect – Yogesh Kataria, who was a rival of Yudhveer during student politics, but later became the pawn of his game.

The third suspect is Kush Lamba, who is Yogesh’s gay lover and considers himself a contender for the post of CM.

The fourth suspect is Shashank, the husband and lawyer of Yudhveer’s friend Greshma. In college it was also with Yudhveer.

The fifth is Suspect Gresma, who has now become the mistress of a channel. The sixth is Suspect Dhawal, who is with Yudhveer since college time and is now the head of his security.

The seventh suspect, Yudhveer, is his grandfather Shamsher Singh, with whom Yudhveer is not formed. They all have their own reasons for killing Yudhveer.

After the murder of Yudhveer in the very first episode, the story goes on further with the investigation of the murder and the events of the past, which are told in Yudhveer’s voice-over.

Even during the interrogation of ACP Abhimanyu some incidents of the past are revealed. ‘Dark 7 White’ is a fast paced murder mystery that fans of this genre will love.

But at the beginning of the series, so many characters come together so that the characters have to struggle to keep them apart from each other.

Five episodes pass to align the characters and the story. Things clear up from the sixth episode and then there is an increased interest in the story.

However, Sumit Vyas and Jatin Sarna continue to dominate the entire series. In terms of acting, apart from these two, no other artist is able to leave an impact.

The writing uses fiercely mixed English profanity and lascivious scenes in order to break through the politics of political politics and make the characters look uber cool.

At the same time, the picture of contradiction also comes out at the ideological level.

While a sense of guilt is shown about homosexuality among male characters, the female characters do not miss the bras in the air to demonstrate their free sexuality.

Mohinder Pratap Singh and Mayuri Roy Chaudhary have a screenplay.

The story is certainly shown in Rajasthan, but the dialogues of Pranjal Saxena, Shashank Kunwar, and Snehil Dixit have lost their familiarity with the Rajasthani language.

Rather than listening to the characters as if they were settled in a metropolitan. The specifics of Yudhveer’s political transformation have not been given much attention by director Satwik Mohanty.

Even after 10 years of politics, Yudhveer’s style is similar to that of a student leader. However, Sumit Vyas has tried his best to bridge the gap with his acting.

By the way, except for Abhimanyu Singh, this deficiency is seen with all the characters.

Like the characters in Ekta Kapoor’s serials, the characters in this series also look untouched by the effects of time.

‘Dark 7 White’ can be seen in its suspense and for the upcoming twists and turns in the final episodes.
