SS Rajamouli’s most awaited film RRR has knocked in theatres. With this, the film has started with a bang in the Hindi belt. Whereas in Telugu, it has created a storm at the box office.
The film was looking slow in pre-booking, but it did not happen. Be it multiplexes or single screens, spot booking across the board was phenomenal in the first-day trends.

RRR has earned more than 20 crores on the first day in the Hindi belt, the net figures are still awaited.
But the initial trends suggest that the film has earned around 25 percent more than expected, as people believed that it will collect between 14 to 15 crores.
Crossing the 20 crore mark on the very first day is a really good sign. Mumbai was the best fairing circuit for RRR, followed by Gujarat, Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Punjab.
The Southern Belt was relatively slow for the Hindi version, as its respective South Indian versions were completely dominated in places such as Chennai, Hyderabad, Karnataka, and Kerala.
The response to RRR has been overwhelmingly positive, and initial reactions suggest that SS Rajamouli’s magic has clicked again among the cine-goers.
Let us tell you that these figures would have been better if this period drama had been released on the day of Holi.
Since the weekend starts from Shukravar, it remains to be seen what the film will do on Saturday and Sunday.
