CM Yogi Said Metro Facility Will Be Available In 4-6 Weeks

CM Yogi said the metro facility will be available in four to six weeks, on a trial run of Kanpur Metro.

Along with going on a trial run, Kanpur Metro will create new records with new experiments and features and will also break the record of the fastest construction of Lucknow Metro in the country.

Compared to Lucknow, the work of Kanpur Metro has been fastest in less than two years.

With the commencement of the trial run, the Research and Design Standards Organization (RDSO) will formally start testing the Metro train.

The Chief Minister will also go inside the metro and inspect it. The cost of the metro project is 11 thousand, 076 crores. Metro to run from IIT to Motijheel in the first phase.

In front of this, excavation is being done for laying underground track. The Chief Minister will stay in the city for 2.55 hours. He will leave for Mathura from Chakeri Airport at 12.30.

Although the Chief Minister has to land at the helipad located at Chandrashekhar Azad Agricultural University by helicopter in the morning.

If the weather worsens, he will land directly at Chakeri Airport and from there he will reach Metro Yard via GT Road.

On Tuesday evening, Kumar Keshav, Managing Director of UP Metro Rail Corporation reached the Polytechnic Depot and inspected the preparations.

The Chief Minister will flag off the first train from Gujarat. Will address the gathering at the depot, in which about five hundred people have been invited.

Divisional Commissioner Dr. Rajasekhar, Police Commissioner Aseem Arun, DM Visakh G Iyer also took stock of the preparations for Shyam Nagar, Metro Yard.

The Chief Minister reached the Metro depot at 10:40 am. Where Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana, Metro MD Kumar Keshav welcomed.

After this the Chief Minister was looking at the model of the Metro depot at the main gate, the Metro MD informed him.

The Chief Minister appreciated the role of UPMRC in the Corona crisis.

CM Yogi said the metro facility will be available: Metro MD Kumar Keshav presented a model metro train to CM Yogi.

CM said I congratulate UPMRC for completing the work of Motdil from IIT before the stipulated time limit.

In one to one and a half months, all the citizens of Kanpur will get the facility metro equipped with the best and state-of-the-art facilities.

I am extremely happy to say that the threat of Corona is not over yet and in such difficult times, the work of the first phase has been completed before the deadline. There will be nine stations in the first phase.

Along with metro cities like Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Kanpur will also be connected in one and a half months.

Kanpur was supposed to get the gift of Metro earlier, but it could not happen due to the negative and corrupt attitude of the previous governments.

Metro is already running successfully in four cities of UP and now soon Kanpur is also going to join it.

Kanpur is a large and densely populated industrial city in the state. The running of the metro will bring great relief to the people here and will help a lot in pollution control.

All the citizens of Kanpur will get the metro facility in one to one and a half months and Kanpur will catch the industrial pace at the same speed.
