Chhattisgarh government’s claim: 589 villages became Naxalite free in 4 years, Maoist organizations are furious.

The Chhattisgarh government has said that a big step is being taken to solve the Naxal problem.

Due to the decisions are taken by the government regarding this problem.

Activities of the Maoist organization under the Bastar division have been limited to a few square kilometers of South Bijapur, South Sukma, and Indravati National Park, Abujhmad, and Koylibeda areas.

Due to the limitation of these activities, the ground has slipped from under the feet of the Maoists and they are furious.

It is worth mentioning that the Maoists are going to any level to maintain the existence of their organization and keep the morale of the cadre strong.

They kill innocent villagers, sometimes set the vehicles used for development works on fire, and sometimes attack the security forces.

The Chhattisgarh government has said that before the year 2019, the number of Naxal-affected villages under the Bastar division was 2710, out of which 589 villages were freed from Naxalites in the last 48 months.

Anti-Naxal operations were conducted inside the Bastar division.

On the demand of the people of the area, 43 new security camps/stations were set up in 48 months for development works.

Chhattisgarh Government’s Claim: The government took these steps.

For the overall development of security camps of Bastar division, education, health, public system, electricity, banks, Anganwadi centers, and other facilities are being made available in those places.

Due to this, public confidence in the administration is increasing.

For the past several years, the Maoists were trying to instigate the local tribal youth against the government by giving wrong information on the issue of water, forest, and land.

But, after this, local youths were recruited into Chhattisgarh Armed Forces and District Police Forces. Because of this, the recruitment of Maoist organizations has come down in the last few years.

Not only this, 363 schools were closed under the Bastar division due to Naxal terror, out of which 257 schools were reopened in the last 48 months.

Chhattisgarh Government’s Claim: Here is the number of events so far.

At the same time, supply was started in a total of 196 villages deprived of electricity in 48 months within the Bastar division.

Talking about the figures, till June 30 this year, a total of 134 Naxal incidents took place, 14 Naxalites were killed and 289 Naxalites surrendered.

In the same period, 177 Naxalites were arrested and a total of 41 Naxal encounters took place.
