Case of showing the black flag to the Chief Minister, 6 policemen were suspended, and action was taken after 2 days of investigation.

In the capital Jaipur on Tuesday evening, 6 policemen were reprimanded for showing black flags in front of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s convoy.

After a preliminary inquiry that lasted for two days, Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava suspended 6 policemen. An order in this regard was issued on the night of 16 March.

The suspended policemen include Sub-Inspector Rakesh Meena, ASI Dharmendra Kumar, Constable Rajesh Kumar, Constable Gajendra, Constable Surendra Kumar, and Constable Radheshyam.

The investigation of this episode was handed over to Additional DCP Adarsh Chaudhary.

On March 14, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot went to inaugurate the student union office at the Law College of Rajasthan University. While CM was returning from the program in the afternoon,

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad workers came running in front of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s car with black flags as soon as the Chief Minister’s convoy came out of the University Gate.

Showing black flags, the students started raising slogans, amid police security arrangements on JLN Marg.

Seeing this, the hands and feet of the policemen swelled. After this, the policemen caught the running youths and showered them with sticks.

In the matter of showing black flags to the Chief Minister, a case was registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and 6 accused were arrested.

On this, ABVP workers demonstrated fiercely outside the Gandhi Nagar police station on Thursday.

Protesting against the police action, they staged a sit-in demonstration. During this, a large number of police forces were deployed outside the Gandhi Nagar police station.

Manish Sisodia, accused in the Delhi Excise Policy scam case, was produced in a Delhi court on Friday, where the Enforcement Directorate (ED) sought his remand.
