A long phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden over the Ukraine crisis has ended.

The White House says there are reports that Russia may soon invade Ukraine. The White House said that the talks between the two leaders lasted for 62 minutes.

Earlier, Putin had one hour and forty minutes talks with French President Emmanuel Macron on the security of Russia and Europe.

In talks with Putin, Biden warned of a tough response if Ukraine was attacked. Biden said this answer would have such a wide impact that it would make it difficult for Russia to survive in the world.

Meanwhile, the US has decided to call its embassy personnel and 150 military trainers from Ukraine. These trainers had gone to Ukraine to train the soldiers in using the American weapons given to them.

The remaining Russian diplomats and other staff have also begun to leave Ukraine.

In view of the situation on the borders of Ukraine, the US and its allies have asked their citizens to leave Ukraine within 48 hours.

After being surrounded by Ukraine on four fronts from three sides, western countries including America have asked citizens to leave.

US President Biden has made it clear that it will not be possible to evacuate civilians from Ukraine once the war breaks out, so all Americans should leave as soon as possible.

Biden spoke to Putin on the phone: The US has said that a Russian attack on Ukraine could begin with airstrikes and missile strikes, followed by strikes by the army and navy.

These attacks could happen before the conclusion of the Winter Olympics in Beijing on February 20.

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan has said that Russian military deployment along the Ukraine border is increasing and there is a possibility of an attack very soon.

Meanwhile, President Biden has instructed to send three thousand more American soldiers to Poland.

Recently America has sent 1,700 soldiers here. The US and its allies have warned of tough economic sanctions from Russia if Ukraine is attacked.

Russia wants a clear assurance of Ukraine not joining NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).

It fears that by joining Ukraine in NATO, Western countries will deploy their missiles on the Russian border. This will increase the threat to Russia.

America and NATO are not responding to this demand of Russia. Another Russian demand is the withdrawal of NATO military deployments from Eastern and Central European countries.

On this also the US-led NATO has not responded. Russia has called it the disgraceful conduct of Western countries.

It has been said that Western countries are not concerned about the security of the entire region including Russia.

They are only trying to make a splash of war and escalating tensions in the region while Russian forces remain within their borders.

Russia has mobilized more than a million soldiers along the Ukrainian border and is engaged in maneuvers in neighboring Belarus.

A US official said intelligence had been received that Russia could launch an attack on Wednesday.
