Avin fraud case: 11-hour interrogation of Rajendra Balaji.

Rajendra Balaji appeared before the district criminal office on a charge of money laundering for allegedly buying Avin’s job. The trial began at 10 a.m. and lasted into the night.

Former minister Rajendra Balaji was interrogated at the Virudhunagar district crime branch office for 11 hours in connection with a case of money laundering for allegedly buying Avin’s job.

AIADMK former Dairy Minister Rajendra Balaji and four of his aides have been booked on charges of embezzling Rs 3 crore from a job at Avin.

Rajendra Balaji, who was in hiding, was arrested by the police in Hassan district of Karnataka and later lodged in the Trichy jail.

He was released from prison following being granted bail by the Supreme Court.

In this situation, the Virudhunagar District Crime Branch summoned Rajendra Balaji to appear in person for the hearing of this case.

Rajendra Balaji, who had already appeared for the hearing on the 31st of last month.

He had already been waiting in the car before the district crime branch office without appearing as he had asked for a negative certificate stating that he had no corona infection.

Following this, he obtained a negative certificate, petitioned to appear again, and went back. A summons was issued on Monday from the district criminal office to appear again.

Following this, Rajendra Balaji again appeared for questioning at the District Crime Branch office yesterday.

The trial began at 10 a.m. and lasted into the night. The trial lasted about 11 hours.

He was interrogated on the basis of cash transaction details and complaint details. DSP, Kannan, and Inspector Ganeshdas interrogated Rajendra Balaji.
