Basharat Bukhari Lashed Out At PAGD Leaders

Basharat Bukhari lashed out at PAGD leaders, said – when will they bring out white papers on the stories of their betrayal.

Former Revenue Minister and senior leader of People’s Conference Basharat Bukhari slammed the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) and said that PAGD leaders should take a peek in their own eyes before accusing the central government.

First of all, tell the people themselves where and when they have betrayed the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the sake of their chair.

Before issuing the white paper against the central government, even once mentioning its shortcomings, it seems that they are honest.

Basharat Bukhari was once counted among the confidants of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.

He has also been the Revenue Minister in the PDP-BJP coalition government.

In the changed situation after the year 2019, he broke ties with Mehbooba Mufti and joined the People’s Conference led by Sajjad Gani Lone.

Condemning the PAGD, he said that last week its leaders released a white paper on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the issue of abrogation of Article 370 by the central government.

He named it betrell or betrayal. He said that I know all the leaders of PAGD very well, I have also worked with many. I don’t understand what they want. They are still fooling people today.

Till date, these people have not been able to do anything except slogans for the restoration of Article 370 and 35A for Jammu and Kashmir.

They do not have a roadmap. They are just trying to save their politics and image.

Basharat Bukhari said that at the time of the District Development Council elections, PAGD had sought votes from the people by giving the slogan of restoration of Article 370.

Where has this promise gone after the election? He said that I too was once in PAGD. PAGD is not formed to contest elections, but it talks about contesting elections.

With this, you can easily understand their real purpose.

The former Revenue Minister said that the leaders of PAGD have released a white paper last week.

In which the situation of the last three years in Jammu and Kashmir, the claims of the Central Government, and the issues related to the abrogation of Article 370 in J&K have been mentioned.

The leaders of PAGD have condemned the claims of the central government and called them false.

I do not talk about their claims, but I do want to know when they will come out with the second issue of this white paper in which they will mention their betrayal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that what is the guarantee that these people will not betray again. The people of Jammu and Kashmir should beware of them.

They can do anything for their seat for power and for political gains.

If the Central Government has abolished the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, then only the leaders involved in PAGD are responsible for it.

They have been in power here, why they have not taken any step to keep the special status strong. Condemn the BJP, but they have had alliances with BJP from time to time.

Basharat Bukhari said that the central government should conduct early elections in Jammu and Kashmir so that the local people can get an elected government.

Bureaucracy can never be a substitute for a democratic and elected government.
