No evidence to link actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan with an international drug syndicate has come to light in the investigation of the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) Special Investigation Team (SIT).

The probe agency says that no evidence has been found to prove that Aryan Khan was part of an international drug syndicate. However, when contacted, the officials refused to speak on the matter.

He only said that there were some irregularities in the raids conducted on Cordelia Cruises bound for Goa. The SIT is still probing the matter.

It is noteworthy that an NCB team led by the then Mumbai zone chief Sameer Wankhede had raided the Cordelia cruise where a drug party was allegedly going on on the intervening night of October 2 and 3.

Aryan Khan and a few others were detained by the team on charges of drug conspiracy and taking drugs.

Khan was arrested by the NCB team on 3 October. After interrogation, he was sent to judicial custody.

His first bail was rejected by the trial court. Aryan Khan later through his lawyer had approached the Bombay High Court which granted him bail on 28 October.

Due to legal procedures, he was released from prison on 30 October. So far, the NCB has arrested 20 people including two Nigerian nationals.

NCB’s SIT will file a charge sheet in this case. At present, legal opinion is being taken in this matter.
