Assembly Election 2022: Voting begins in Goa, Uttarakhand, and UP, PM Modi appeals to people to vote.

Voting has begun for the assembly seats in Uttarakhand, Goa, and Uttar Pradesh. Before voting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the public to exercise their franchise by tweeting.

Appealing to the public, the Prime Minister wrote on the tweet that, in Uttarakhand, Goa, and parts of Uttar Pradesh, voting is being held today.

I call upon all the people who are eligible to vote today. Let them vote in record numbers and strengthen the festival of democracy.

Apart from this, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also appealed to the public to vote.

Appealing to the public by tweeting, CM Yogi wrote, Hearty congratulations to all the respected voters of the second phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections-2022, along with voting rights and duties, there is also ‘Rashtra Dharma’.

Make sure to vote to continue the development journey of ‘riot free and fear-free new Uttar Pradesh’.

Let us tell you that voting is going on for the second phase of the Goa, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

Polling is going on in a single phase for 40 assembly seats in Goa, 70 assembly seats in Uttarakhand. Whereas in 55 seats of 9 districts of UP, voting has started from 7 am.

Voting began on Monday in all 40 assembly seats of Goa. Along with this, honorable people have also started coming here for voting.

All parties have appealed to the people to exercise their franchise. Security arrangements have been made more vigilant in view of the polling.

The Governor of Goa casts his vote along with his wife at Taleigao AC, PS No. 15, Dona Paula at the very beginning of voting.

Apart from this, Himachal Pradesh Governor Rajendra Arlekar along with his wife cast their vote in Baina constituency 25- Vasco da Gama for Goa Assembly elections.

Raj Bhavan has tweeted this information. Voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm. Around 11.04 percent polling has been recorded till 9 am in the state.
