Amarnath Yatra 2022: Devotees of Baba Barfani started reaching Jammu, the first batch will leave tomorrow, know what will be the whole system.

After two years, the Yatri Niwas, the base camp of Shri Amarnath Yatra in Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, once again resonated with the chants of Har Har Mahadev on Monday evening.

Devotees from all over the country have started reaching Jammu for the journey starting on Thursday (June 30).

Till Monday night, over 200 devotees had entered the Yatri Niwas amid tight security. The state of reverence and enthusiasm is such that many Divyang devotees have also come to undertake this difficult journey.

Amarnath Yatra 2022: The first batch for Shri Amarnath Yatra will leave from Jammu for Baltal and Pahalgam in Kashmir from Yatri Niwas in early hours of Wednesday (June 29).

Due to Corona, the journey could not be done for two years. So this time there is more enthusiasm among the devotees.

Yatri Niwas is the main base camp in Jammu, where arrangements have been made by the administration to accommodate the pilgrims.

About 1800 devotees can stay together in this Yatri Niwas. There are a total of four big halls in the two-story Yatri Niwas, where arrangements have been made to accommodate 1400 pilgrims.

Apart from this, a pre-fabricated shed has been built in the courtyard, where 200 devotees will be able to spend the night if needed.

This time a new hall has also been constructed, in which arrangements are made for the accommodation of 200 devotees.

This time the administration, including the Yatri Niwas, has made 30 resting places in the district, where the devotees of Baba Barfani can stay.

A counter has been set up by the Road Transport Corporation at the Yatri Niwas itself, from where devotees will be able to book small and big vehicles to go to Baltal or Pahalgam.

From the point of view of security, this time devotees will not be allowed to come out at night, so the arrangement of langar has also been made inside the Yatri Niwas.

On the other hand, arrangements have also been made for the devotees of Baba Barfani who have not been able to register the Yatra online in time, for them.

In such a situation, these devotees reaching Jammu without registration will also be able to immediately register and leave for the journey.

Tatkal registration will be arranged from today: Tatkal registration facility is also starting in Jammu on Tuesday. For this, the devotee will have to pay a fee of Rs 220.

Tatkal registration will be completed in three phases. The devotees will have to reach Saraswati Dham located at the railway station with their Aadhar card, from where they will be given a token.

After this they will have to get their medical examination done and after that their registration will be done.

The immediate registration will be started by Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar from Ram Mandir in Jammu on Tuesday.

Medical examination can be done here: Although a team of doctors will be available for medical examination at every registration center.

Devotees can also get the certificate by getting the examination done at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Sarwal Hospital, and Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Kunjwani.
