Captain Kapil Dev, who won the World Cup in 1983 to the Indian cricket team, is fit at the moment and has returned to the golf field.

The 61-year-old veteran all-rounder had said that he would like to play golf soon after getting clearance from doctors and on Thursday he was seen playing at Delhi Golf Club.

In a video message released on Twitter, Kapil said, ‘How fun it is to return to the golf course or cricket ground, you cannot express it in words.

It is gorgeous to come back to the golf course, have fun, and play with friends. This is just life.

Kapil has played golf as an amateur since he retired from international cricket in 1994 and has participated in many amateur tournaments.

He suffered a heart attack last month following which he underwent an emergency angioplasty. He came home from the hospital two days ago and informed fans about his health status.

Right-handed batsman Kapil Dev has set all records on the cricket pitch as a batsman and as a bowler.

After retiring from cricket, he worked as an administrator and then apart from coaching he has also commented, but these days he likes to play golf more.

Not only this, even cricketers like Yuvraj Singh keep learning the nuances of playing golf with them.
