We have procured 10 state-of-the-art drones, which will be used for maintaining the security of the main function venue during Independence Day.

This will help in maintaining law and order in Srinagar and its adjoining areas, monitoring miscreants.

Lt Governor Manoj Sinha will unfurl the national flag at the main function in Srinagar here.

He said that keeping in mind the security of not only Srinagar city, Srinagar airport, all-important government establishments, and military installations, no flying zones have also been created.

Only approved airlines of security agencies, government, and private sector are allowed in these areas. There will be immediate legal action against any other unwanted activity.
