In a statement issued by the state government, it has been said that out of 65 cases of DeltaPlus variant found so far, 33 cases have been found in people aged 19 to 45 years.

17 such cases have been found in people in the age group of 46 to 60 years.

More than 38 thousand new cases were found.

According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday morning, more than 38 thousand new cases have been found in the country in the last 24 hours.

More than 21 thousand of the new cases are from Kerala alone. Active cases stand at 3.86 lakh, which is 1.21 percent of the total cases.
