Giving information about his resignation on Facebook, he wrote, ‘I am resigning from all posts of Shiromani Akali Dal. I have been serving the party and the people with my body, mind, and money.

For some reason, I am resigning from my post. I will reveal the reasons in the coming time. I will continue my services towards the society.’ Along with this, he has also put a clipping of joining BJP.

Youth Akali Dal’s district head joins BJP: Many more leaders join BJP.

Gosha joined the party in front of top BJP leaders in Delhi. The special thing is that a few seconds before joining, Gosha talked about leaving the party on the internet media.

Due to this, the SAD leaders did not even get a chance to take some action. Along with him in Delhi, some other leaders of Punjab also joined the BJP, including Sarin of Amritsar.

It is worth mentioning that due to the assembly elections going to be held this year, the contest in the Ludhiana district is likely to be interesting.

Gesha joining the BJP would be a big loss to the Shiromani Akali Dal, as he used to play a key role in all fronts of the party in Ludhiana.

He was actively participating in the election campaign of Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal, the candidate from Ludhiana West. His departure has also dealt a blow to his election campaign.

Union Jal Shakti Minister and Punjab BJP Election Committee President Gajendra Shekhawat and Punjab in-charge Dushyant Gautam were also present at the time of joining.
