BJP should take up the matter with Governor Vajubhai Wala before discussing it with High Command leaders. It is said that Yeddyurappa met the governor today.

Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Wednesday held a discussion with Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai on his way to the King’s Palace, where he met Governor Vajubhai Wala. The sudden visit has given rise to many speculations that CM Yeddyurappa has met with the governor to discuss the expansion of the cabinet.

It is just over a year since the BJP government came to power in the state. Still, a full volume has not been created yet. Six ministerial posts remain vacant in the cabinet. However, there are at least 20 ministerial candidates for these six seats. Also, many are lobbying for a ministerial position.

Meanwhile, there has been talk of a change of leadership in the BJP over the last several days. CM Yeddyurappa has decided to expand the portfolio in August. High Command leaders have been waiting for their return, which they have agreed is a surefire extension.

Speaking after the visit, the home minister dismissed the debate over the expansion, saying, “There has been no talks on the expansion of the cabinet.

However, the news of the expansion of the cabinet in the state politics has been making a big noise in recent days, with CM Yeddyurappa and Governor Vajubhai Wala making a special appearance today. Also, the volume expansion, which has been stalled for a year, is nearing an end.
