Wimbledon 2022: Djokovic, who won 3 consecutive titles, defeated the 79th-ranked player in the third round.

Top seed Novak Djokovic defeated Thanasi Kokinakis of Australia 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 to reach the third round of Wimbledon.

Djokovic once again appeared as the champion player, winning three consecutive Wimbledon titles.

Earlier, on Monday, Djokovic was seen struggling a bit against Soon Woo, who landed the fourth consecutive Wimbledon title.

But Djokovic looked old in front of 79th-ranked Kokinakis and dominated this player from the first set and the series ended with the match-winning.

Djokovic won this match within two hours.

Australian player Kokinakis made headlines in 2018 after defeating Roger Federer in the second round of the Miami Masters.

But, Kokinakis did not work in front of the 20-time Grand Slam champion, and from the beginning of the match to the end, Djokovic dominated this player.

Djokovic, who defeated Kokinakis in straight sets seven years ago at the French Open, broke the Australian player’s service at the start of all three sets during the Wimbledon match.

Djokovic will face either Chile’s Alexandro Tabilo or Serbia’s Miomir Kesmanovic in the third round.
