The movies
Nail polish
On January 1, nail polish will come out on Zee 5, directed by Bugs Bhargava Krishna.
Nail Polish is an intense courtroom drama, in which Arjun Rampal will appear as a lawyer and will be seen in defense of the accused of killing 38 children.
The film stars Manav Kaul and Anand Tiwari in the lead roles.
Arjun Rampal had told in a conversation with Jagran.com that for his role in the film, he took inspiration from his uncle, who is a well-known lawyer.
Kagaz
Satish Kaushik-directed film Kagaz will be released on Zee 5 on 7 January. It is a film made on the real story, with Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role.
This film has been produced by Salman Khan. The story of the film revolves around Bharat Lal, who was declared dead in government documents and fights his life in the system.
Mara
R Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath’s film Mara will be released on January 8 on Amazon Prime Video.
It is a Telugu film, directed by Dilip Kumar. Mara is the official remake of the Malayalam film Charlie.
The white tiger
On January 22, the film The White Tiger, starring Priyanka Chopra and Rajkumar Rao, will air on Netflix.
It is based on Arvind Adiga’s best-selling novel by the same name. The film is directed by Ramin Bahrani. Adarsh Gaurav will start his film innings with this film.
Web series
Tandav
Saif Ali Khan, who created a furore in the world of OTT from a hugely popular web series like Sacred Games, will now appear in the lead role of a politician in Tandav, which airs on Amazon Prime on January 15.
In this series, competent actors like Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub and Tigmanshu Dhulia will be seen in many important roles.
Apart from these, Dino Morea, Kumud Mishra, Gauhar Khan, Amaira Dastur, Sara Jane Dias, Sandhya Mridul, Anoop Soni, Hiten Tejwani.
Paresh Pahuja and Shonali Nagrani will also be seen. The series is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. This is Ali and Dimple’s digital debut.
Zid
Zid will be released on January 5 on Zee 5. In this series, Amit Sadh will appear in the lead role. Producer Boney Kapoor is making a digital debut with this series. Amrita Puri is in the female lead.
