Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah announce their new film, ‘Jalsa’ will happen in 2020: Jalsa.
After ‘Sherni, now film actress Vidya Balan has announced her next film. Vidya Balan will soon be seen in the film ‘Jalsa’ with veteran actress Shefali Shah, whose shooting has started in Mumbai.
Both the actresses will be seen in the lead roles in the film. Apart from these, Rohini Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Gurpal Singh Surya Kasibhatla and Manav Kaul will also be seen in the film.
The movie is co-written and directed by Suresh Triveni, who has previously worked with Vidya in Tumhari Sulu.
Excited about the launch of the film, Director, Writer, and Producer Suresh Triveni says, “It has been a great experience working with T-Series and Abudantia Entertainment for Jalsa”.
With an amazing cast and team like Vidya and Shefali in the lead roles.
Talking about the film, Vidya said, “I am very excited to be associated with Suresh again. ‘Tumhari Sulu’ was a unique, fun experience, and I hope ‘Jalsa’ will be something different for us too.
Now just waiting for this film to start and release. I am very happy to be associated with Abudantia Entertainment and T-Series again after ‘Sherni’.
Vidya has also shared an intro teaser of the film on her Instagram, in which it has been informed that the film may release in 2022.
Talking about Jalsa, Shefali Shah said, “I am very excited that I am going to be a part of ‘Jalsa’. This is a very different story.
When Suresh first told me about it, I thought I just had to do it. I am also looking forward to working with such an amazing actress like Vidya Balan, whose work I have always been a huge fan of.
