In the last 24 hours, 40,120 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in India and 585 people died.

At the same time, a total of 65 cases of Delta Plus variant were reported in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra and one death has also been registered.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, the total number of positive cases in the country is 3,21,17,826 and the death toll of the total infected has gone up to 4,30, 254.

The ministry said that at present the recovery rate of corona infection in the country is 97.46 percent and the daily positivity rate is 2.04 percent.

A 63-year-old woman resident of Ghatkopar in Mumbai died of a corona infection in July.

Now it has been revealed in the report that the cause of death was the Delta Plus variant. It is worth noting that the woman had received both doses of the vaccine.

So far 3,13,02,345 people have defeated the infection in the country, out of which 42,295 people have been cured of infection in the last 24 hours.

At present, the total active cases in the country are 3,85,227.

To prevent corona infection, 52,95,82,956 doses have been administered so far, out of which 57,31,574 doses were administered in the last 24 hours under the ongoing nationwide corona vaccination.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 19,70,495 samples were tested for coronavirus in India on Thursday.

After this, the total testing figure in the country has gone up to 48,94,70,779.

499 children infected in Bangalore.

After six days on Thursday, the figure of new cases crossed 40 thousand. 41,195 new cases were registered in 24 hours.

At the same time, in the first ten days of this month (August) in Bangalore, 499 children were found corona infected.
