US News: ‘Will India be able to stop the Russia-Ukraine war?’, America gave a big statement on the question asked.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told a press conference on Monday that the US welcomes any role India or any other country can play to help achieve lasting peace while recognizing Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
US News: America will welcome the helping country.
Miller was asked whether India or Prime Minister Narendra Modi could play a role in ending the long-running conflict between Russia and Ukraine, to which he replied, “We welcome the role that India can play.” Or any other country can help bring a just and lasting end to the conflict.”
Russia suffered heavy losses in the war.
Claiming that the conflict with Ukraine has been a strategic failure for Russia, Miller said that Russia has suffered heavy losses of military personnel and equipment in this war.
He said the US welcomes the international support Ukraine has received since the beginning of the conflict.
Russia’s economy was affected.
Responding to another question on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, Miller said, “This war has been a strategic failure for Russia, with heavy losses of both military personnel and military equipment.”
“They’ve seen their economies get hammered by the sanctions and export controls we’ve put in place.”
